Jardeg is recruiting a Labourer to join the Heartland Constructors team at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. Charter flights are provided from Calgary/Edmonton to site! While working on site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facility, Wi-Fi and much more!
GET Crew Skilled Labourers assist skilled trades people and perform a wide range of tasks at construction sites. They will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of company vehicles and/or equipment.
- Loading, unloading, identifying, and distributing materials and equipment
- Cleaning and preparation of construction components (Modules, Process equipment etc.)
- Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Ask required questions and take the required direction to endure safety that work is accomplished safely
- Understand and follow company safety management system and core values
- Maintain all company tools and equipment to the required standards
- Foster a cooperative and positive work atmosphere
- Experience around heavy equipment is an asset.
- Physical strength and stamina
- Manual dexterity
- Safety conscious attitude
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Standard First Aid (Level A or C)
- Basic Rigging (In-person course)
- ESC Wood Buffalo Wildlife Orientation
- ESC Fall Protection
- ESC Confined Space
- Satisfactory Drug & Alcohol Test
- Mask Fit Test
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Other safety ticket(s) and orientation(s) required, as per the project team
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a clean 3 Year Driver's Abstract
- Telehandler (Zoom Boom) training and experience is mandatory
- Forklift training and experience mandatory
- Experience around heavy equipment is an asset.
