Jardeg Construction Services is currently recruiting Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeypersons for Woodland Constructors Ltd. at the Dow Path2Zero Project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

As a Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeyperson, you will:

 

  • Layout, assemble, install, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and piping layouts.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe to required specifications.
  • Install and connect valves, fittings, and other piping components.
  • Perform pressure testing and leak testing of piping systems.
  • Troubleshoot fitting and installation issues.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Follow site safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Certifications

  • Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeyperson Certificate
  • CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Fall Protection (In-Class Certification Required)
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Rigging Certification

Additional Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Successful completion of a pre-access Drug and Alcohol Test.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
