Jardeg Construction Services is currently recruiting Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeypersons for Woodland Constructors Ltd. at the Dow Path2Zero Project in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
If you are a safety-focused, experienced Steamfitter-Pipefitter looking to work on a major industrial construction project, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
As a Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeyperson, you will:
- Layout, assemble, install, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and piping layouts.
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe to required specifications.
- Install and connect valves, fittings, and other piping components.
- Perform pressure testing and leak testing of piping systems.
- Troubleshoot fitting and installation issues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Follow site safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Certifications
- Steamfitter-Pipefitter Journeyperson Certificate
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection (In-Class Certification Required)
- Confined Space Entry
- Rigging Certification
Additional Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Successful completion of a pre-access Drug and Alcohol Test.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Ability to work outdoors in varying and extreme weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
