Heartland Constructors is seeking a Planner Supervisor to join our team at Shell Scotford in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

 

Planner’s are responsible for the organization, direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities on a construction project site as delineated in the applicable project execution procedures, site specific safety plan and project execution plan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organizes, and coordinates construction activities on a job site.
  • Assists in the implementation and enforcement of project procedures, schedules, cost controls and reporting.
  • Requests and coordinates movement of tools, materials and equipment in accordance with established procedures and lead times.
  • Identifies potential changes to project scope and advises project superintendent of associated impacts.
  • Assists in the coordination and planning of projects in a particular construction area.
  • Monitors contractors, trades performance, progress, and productivity.
  • Ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 6 years minimum experience
  • CSTS-09 or CSTS-2020 Ticket
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
  • SAP experience is a must
  • 3 Year Driver’s Abstract
