Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Millwright to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a short-term project starting as soon as February 24, 2026. This position will be on a day shift currently scheduled to last for a minimum of 3 months on a 7/7 schedule. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret equipment manuals to determine standard operating and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform Scheduled or preventive maintenance in mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic repairs of equipment
  • Lubricate all moving parts including bearings, gears and shaft, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.

 

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test 
  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • Confined Space
  • H2S Alive
  • Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging
