Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson Ironworkers to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the fall outage. This is a temporary role, working 12 hours per day, straight through, starting September 19th and running until approximately October 3, 2025. 

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Erect and Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
  • Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
  • Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test 
  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • Confined Space
  • Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging
