Jardeg is recruiting an Insulator Journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for a permanent day shift position starting July 30th. This is an exciting fly-in, fly-out position with charter flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton. You will be working a 7 day on/7 day off schedule, with each workday consisting of 11.5 hours

 

Insulators responsibilities include but are not limited to;

 

  • Install, maintain, and repair insulation on a variety of equipment, pipelines, vessels, and structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes to plan insulation projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with project teams to determine insulation requirements, select suitable materials, and implement efficient installation methods.
  • Ensure precise insulation thickness and proper fit to achieve optimal energy efficiency and safety.
  • Supervise, train, and coach apprentices, fostering their growth and development in the trade.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines of the construction industry, prioritizing a safe work environment for all team members.

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Journeyperson Insulator certification or Journeyperson proof of hours.
  • Industrial or Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
  • CSTS-2020
  • Energy Safety Canada (ESC) Certified Confined Space Entry
  • Energy Safety Canada (ESC) Certified Fall Protection
  • Valid Government Issued Identification
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
