Jardeg is recruiting Equipment Operators for the Spring Turnaround at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This position starts May 13th on a 6/1 shift rotation working 12 hours per day. The approximate end date is June 18th. Overtime is paid at time and a half for anytime worked over 8 hours a day and/or over 40 hour a week. There is both day shift and night shift positions. There is a $3.00/hr premium for night shift. This is a camp position with flights out of Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs.

An Equipment Operator will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies and procedures.
Move material operating Zoom Boom and Skid Steer.
Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
Communicate and review hand signals with spotter.
Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment.
Read and understand the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment.
Properly maintain and service or has equipment serviced daily.

Position Qualifications:

Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09
Telehandler Certificate
Valid Driver’s License
3-Years Driver’s Abstract
