Jardeg is recruiting electrician journeyperson to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for long term Maintenance role.  Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 7 days on, 7 day off 7. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.  

 

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Horizon site for over a decade. This is a permanent maintenance role starting as early as possible. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

 

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Valid apprenticeship
  • Driver's Abstract
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test and Mask fit
  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • Confined Space -ESC
  • Fall Protection -ESC
  • AWP - ESC
  • Basic Rigging
