Jardeg is recruiting Rig Welders to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2025 spring turnaround. Travel allowances are also provided.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting April 13th and running until June 2.

Responsibilities:

Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW to weld pressure piping

Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available

Some welds may be customized while others may consist of repetitive procedures

Position Qualifications:

Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
CSTS 09 or CSO
Confined Space
Fall Protection
Basic Rigging

Welding Tickets Required:

B Pressure Ticket (ABSA)

F3/F4 SMAW
661T SMAW – F (flat) V (vertical) H (horizontal)
CWB SMAW
F5 SMAW or F6/F5 GTAW/SMAW
