Jardeg is recruiting Rig Welders to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 spring turnaround. Day and night shifts are available.

 

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as May 4th and running until May 16th. 

 

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW to weld pressure piping
  • Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available
  • Some welds may be customized while others may consist of repetitive procedures

 

Position Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • CSTS 09 or CSO
  • Confined Space
  • Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging

Welding Tickets Required:

  • B Pressure Ticket (ABSA)
  • F3/F4 SMAW
  • 661T SMAW – F (flat) V (vertical) H (horizontal)
  • CWB SMAW
  • F5 SMAW or F6/F5 GTAW/SMAW
