Jardeg is looking to hire Electrician Journeypersons for their Turnaround at Cenovus Upgrader in Lloydminster, SK. Potential candidates will be working on Turnaround event in mid-May to June 2024.

 

It will be on 10/4 shift with opportunity to work in pre-TA starting April 22, 2024 and post-TA till July 1, 2024 work as well. TA will be for about 4 weeks. 

 

This will be a drive to site position and LOA and travel allowance will be provided to eligible candidates. 

 

Electricians install, alter, repair, and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal, or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures, and premises.

We are looking for personnel with maintenance experience in plant-based settings and willing to provide training in areas where required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, electrical code specific to electrical equipment layout.
  • Tests, examines, and installs electrical components, wiring, receptables, switches and other electrical controls.
  • Work with cutting, threading, bending, assembling, and installing conduits and other conductors and fittings.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Electrician Journeyperson Certificate
  • CSTS - 2020
  • H2s Alive
  • Standard First Aid
  • Elevated Work Platform
  • Fall Protection
  • Driver's License and Abstract
