Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer or 1st Year Carpenter Apprentice to work at one of our projects in Leduc, AB!
The project will consist of a new overpass over the QEII Highway; new on-off ramps from the QEII Highway; improvements to some existing ramps; intersection improvements at 65 Avenue and 50 Street in Leduc; and, completion of Perimeter Road and 65 Avenue, west of the QEII Highway.
Responsibilities:
- Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures
- Review work area for damages
- General site cleanup and housekeeping
- Assist with other duties as required
- Equipment operating as assigned
- Informs immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry
- If an apprentice - be recognized by provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice
- CSTS 2020 & WHMIS Certifications
- Fall Protection is an asset
- Reliable transportation
