We are currently recruiting for a Labourer/ Zoom Boom & Skid Steer Operator to join the team in Leduc, AB!
The project will consist of a new overpass over the QEII Highway; new on-off ramps from the QEII Highway; improvements to some existing ramps; intersection improvements at 65 Avenue and 50 Street in Leduc; and, completion of Perimeter Road and 65 Avenue, west of the QEII Highway.
This position is in Leduc, AB and does not have camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living out allowance.
In this position, you will:
- Handle and distribute construction materials (load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)
- General site cleanup and housekeeping
- Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork
- Review work area for damages
- Provide support for other trades as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating equipment
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Must have an operating ticket for Zoom Boom/ Telehandler & Skid Steer/ Bobcat
- Certifications: CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015
- Rigging ticket is an asset to have
- Drivers License
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
- Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
