- Cut, shape, and join
- Look for and fix deficiencies
- Building of hoarding and other temporary structures
- Check accuracy of work, and makes adjustments as required

Study blueprints for work planning

Using various hand tools (knowledge & experience with)

Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level

Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or takes appropriate measures

Perform labourer duties in addition to carpentry work
- Preference will be given to Registered Carpenter Apprentices (3rd to 4th Years) from a recognized provincial training authority
- Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
- Certifications: CSTS & WHMIS

Fall Protection is an asset

Experience with working at heights near leading edges is a strong asset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work
