Jardeg Construction is currently seeking Temporary Crane Operator to join our Bonnyville Fabrication Shop team. This is a Full-Time position on 5/2 rotation with 48 hours a week. Candidates outside of 100km radius will be eligible for LOA. 

 

Rates have just been Increased at Bonnyville Fabrication Effective Dec 09, 2025

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • "Operators manipulate a number of pedals and levers to rotate the crane and raise and lower its boom and one or more load lines.
  • May drive the crane to the job site, rig the machine up (pin the boom and pendant cables and pull the hoist cable in preparation for operation) 
  • Set up the machine for the lift (i.e., make it level and stable) using blocking and leveling materials. "

 

Requirements:

 

  • Crane Operator Journeyperson Ticket
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Construction Safety Training Systems 2020 Certification 
  • AWP
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
