Located in the Southern Athabasca region, MEG’s Christina Lake Project is a multi-phased project approximately 150 kilometers South of Fort McMurray in Northeast Alberta.

 

Comprised of approximately 200 square kilometers of leases, this SAGD operation currently has regulatory approvals in place to produce approximately 210,000 bpd.

 

All workers will be staying at the state-of-the-art Poplar Ridge Lodge, which boasts a gym, rec area, commissary, laundry facility, Wi-Fi, cable, custom sandwiches, as well as full breakfasts and dinners.

 

We have an amazing, experienced site team at MEG Energy who have safety and efficient work practices at the top of mind.

 

Integrated Constructors is currently seeking Skilled Laborers to join the MEG Energy Special Projects on site Conklin, Alberta.

 

This is a full-time position on an 8/6 rotation 

 

This is a drive in/drive out site only. 

 

Effective October 3rd, 2022 - Labourers at MEG Energy will receive a $3/hr incentive on top of the base hourly wage paid on all hours worked (regular and overtime). 

 

 

Assist skilled trades people and perform a wide range of tasks at construction sites.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning of company vehicles and/or equipment. 
  • Loading, unloading, identifying, and distributing materials and equipment
  • Cleaning and preparation of construction components (Modules, Process equipment etc.)
  • Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ask required questions and take the required direction to endure safety that work is accomplished safely
  • Understand and follow URS' safety management system and core values
  • Maintain all company tools and equipment to the required standards
  • Foster a cooperative and positive work atmosphere

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-years of related experience.    
  • Previous construction experience
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Manual dexterity
  • Safety conscious attitude
