Jardeg is looking for Insulator to join at our IORL Cold Lake Projects. We are looking for Local candidate. This is a temporary full-time position on 5/2 - 5 days on 2 days off rotation with 48 hours a week.

Cold Lake has been in operation for 45 years and has close to 400 employees and over ~1000 contracted workers including workers from indigenous business.

Insulators apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g., calcium silicate, glass foam, mineral wool, Styrofoam, fiberglass) on all types of industrial equipment (e.g., duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels).

Responsibilities:

Display Coaching Skills; describe the industry network; recognize the importance of fireproofing and firestopping systems; recognize the various applications of various spray applications; understand commercial process systems; understand industrial process systems
Ability to Install a concentric reducer; install an eccentric reducer; install a square to round transition; install square to square transition; install finish on head segments.
Perform a pan out and cut out for obstructions; install common types of elbows; install a lateral; Install box coverings.
Interpret mechanical drawings and symbols in an industrial system; interpret ISO and P&ID drawings for the application of insulating materials; determine quantities of materials by doing a takeoff; estimate the project costs to complete a job.

CSTS 2020
WHMIS 2015
First Aid
H2s Alive
Class 5 (Non - GDL) License and 3 year's Abstract
Proof of hours / apprentice / Journeyperson ticket
