Jardeg is currently recruiting for Skilled Labourers for upcoming work with JCL Industrial Constructors at the Nutrien Cory Mine near Saskatoon.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with confined space entry when required
- Supporting housekeeping, maintenance, and snow removal efforts
- Helping with a variety of general labour duties as needed
- Working at heights when necessary
Requirements:
- WHMIS 2015 certification (must be issued within the past 3 years per Nutrien Cory’s policy)
- CSA approved safety toed boots, minimum 6" height, with internal metatarsal guards (from the manufacturer) will be required
- CSTS-2020 / SCOT certification (SCOT must be issued within the past 3 years despite its 5-year validity)
- Valid driver’s license
- AWP Training
- GMSA certification (if required, workers should reach out to supervision or workforce advisor/HSE to arrange GMSA pins once drug and alcohol clearance is received)
- Completion of a pre-access drug and alcohol test
Additional Details:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Shift schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, starting at 6:45 AM
- Shutdown schedule will vary, with shifts ranging from 5 days per week at 10 hours per shift to 7 days per week at 12 hours per shift (March 31 - May 9, subject to change)
- Post-shutdown work will follow a 5-day, 10-hour shift schedule until the project is completed
