Jardeg is actively recruiting for a Workforce Services Onboarding Coordinator supporting the Workforce Services Division. Reporting to the Workforce Lead Recruiter, the Workforce Services Onboarding Coordinator plays a key role in supporting efficient onboarding processes, maintaining accurate employee records, and delivering administrative and HR support that ensures a smooth experience for new hires and internal stakeholders.

 

This is a remote, temporary 3-months contract role

 

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site 

  • Maintain and organize personnel files, employee documents, and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with e‑filing standards
  • Support Talent Acquisition with requisitions, job postings, offer letters, onboarding coordination, and recruitment activities
  • Administer employee programs (e.g. Apprenticeship Program), including eligibility checks, data maintenance, coordination with business units, and distribution of certificates or awards
  • Manage Applicant Tracking and Onboarding systems, reviewing and approving new hire/re‑hire submissions and onboarding packages
  • Provide general HR administrative support, including preparing forms, arranging meetings, posting communications, and responding to inquiries through the Onboarding inbox

 

The Right Tools for the Job 

  • Education: High school diploma required; post‑secondary education in a related field preferredCertificate or diploma in Human Resources Management considered an asset
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an office or HR/Recruitment environment preferredexperience supporting onboarding, HR administration, or recruitment processes considered an asset
  • Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and onboarding platforms
  • Certifications: Interest in or progress toward CPHR designation is an asset
