Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer to join the Buildings team in the city of Calgary!
 
The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday. The shift may include extended hours and weekends, as required by the site
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • General labour duties
  • Knowledge of basic building construction
  • Support the assembly and construction of simple buildings, such as garages
  • Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork, chipping of concrete
  • Dewatering
  • Site organization
  • Using various power tools (knowledge & experience with)
  • General site cleanup and housekeeping
  • Assist with other duties as required
 
Requirements:
 
  • CSTS/ WHMIS Certificates
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
  • Capable of learning through on the job training
  • Reliable transportation to get to work
  • Framing experience is an asset
  • Experience using a Skill Saw and cutting wood is an asset 
  • Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
