Jardeg is seeking a Workforce Recruitment Coordinator to be based in Calgary or Edmonton. Reporting to the Workforce Lead Recruiter, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for assisting recruiters with mobilization and pre-employment activities along with full cycle recruitment activities. This is a permanent position on 5 days on 2 days off schedule, with flexible hours, and work from home options available.
A Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role involves a variety of tasks including coordinating interviews, managing applicant tracking systems, and liaising with different departments to understand hiring needs. Recruiting Coordinators often serve as the first point of contact for candidates, playing a crucial role in shaping their perception of the organization. They must possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to succeed in this multifaceted role.
Responsibilities may include:

Responsible for overall onboarding activities for name, new, and re-hires from creating requisitions to hire, job postings, sourcing and screening candidates, participating in interviews, checking references, verifying background checks, and preparing offer letters for successful candidates.

Prepare and distribute offer letters and other new hire documentation to facilitate the onboarding process.

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring timely and professional communication

Build strong relationships with the project Human Resources teams and hiring managers to ensure process and procedures are being followed.

Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data and status changes.

Review and approve new hire / re-hire submissions and pre-site mobilization packages/documents

Provide support to the Talent Acquisition group which may include posting jobs, phone screens, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, conducting background checks and/or other pre-employment requirements, and assisting in recruitment strategies

Organize and lead the company's onboarding system, answer questions, and provide updates

Maintaining personnel files, including creating files for new employees

Distribute communication materials (including email communication) for the group to the business units, employees, and outside service providers

Assist HR client group regarding employee background checks

Review and upload sign-on packages Scan and save HR forms and employee documents per e-Filing standards for each assigned client group and/or division Respond to employees’ inquiries made through the Onboarding inbox
Minimum Qualifications:

High School, College or University degree in a related field

Human Resource / Recruitment department experience is required

Intermediate knowledge in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:

3 to 5 years' experience in an office environment is an asset

Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Human Resources Management from an accredited institution is an asset

RPR designation is an asset

Knowledge and experience of Construction industry is preferred

Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Intermediate knowledge of SuccessFactors is an asset.
