Jardeg is seeking a highly motivated HR Analyst for a temporary role to be based in our Calgary, AB location.
This position will be reporting to the Workforce Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data manipulation, coding, data cleaning, advanced Excel skills, and data visualization. You should possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets, while meeting timelines for scheduled reporting targets. As an HR Analyst, you will play a key role in reporting on business metrics to our stakeholders and supporting our HRIS Analytics team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Assist in creating custom reports and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python.
- Employ advanced Excel features, including Power Pivots, Power Query, Power Automate, Data Simulations, and Macros & VBA.
- Clean and preprocess data using a combination of industry-leading tools, such as Excel, OpenRefine, or other data cleaning solutions. Help ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleaning techniques.
- Combine data from multiple sources.
- Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports to meet business requirements, ensuring data is accurate and replicable.
- Continuously improve analytical techniques and tools to enhance data-driven insights in creating reports and visuals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Technical diploma or Bachelor degree in Commerce, Data Science, Data Analyst, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP / Success Factors and HR processes.
- Familiarity with HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, attrition, organizational structure.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred in an analyst role or similar position.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data queries and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Works well within a team.
