Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters on-site

Ensure top-quality workmanship and safety standards

Work closely with site leadership and trades to maintain project flow and efficiency.

Lead construction on projects and ensuring that construction goals are achieved and meet or exceed client expectations

Produce work that results in an exceptional client experience

Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards
- Work with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates according to the established project schedule

Provide clear direction to those team members you’re leading, to ensure project targets are achieved
- Attend and providing input at project meetings and ensuring that information is transmitted to those on your team
- Assess the target production goal, then establishing a team workflow while executing the plan to achieve it
- Support staff through coaching and team huddles

Efficiently and safely use the relevant tools and equipment needed to produce the various assemblies for the project
- Support and maintain healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites
- You are a skilled Carpenter that has experience managing construction teams

Hold a valid Carpenter Journeyperson ticket from a recognized provincial training authority

Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
- CSTS 2020 & WHMIS 2015

Experience with concrete formwork is required
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role
- You have an understanding of construction phases and workflow
- Experience in multiple phases of construction, from foundation work to finishing

Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues

Reliable transportation to get to work
- Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
