Jardeg is recruiting for a Skilled Laboure/Shop Hand local to Bonnyville to join our Fabrication Shop team. This is a temporary full-time position on 5 days on and 2 days off rotation.

 

Bonnyville's Fabrication Shop does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.  For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

 

Previous Shop Hand experience is mandatory.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operating overhead crane
  • Housekeeping
  • Ensure material is stored off the ground and protected.
  • Assisting Pipefitters and Welders as required
  • Experience in piping material an asset.
  • Daily operation of forklift

 

Requirements:

 

  • Construction Safety Training Systems 2020 Certification 

  • WHMIS 2015

  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
