Jardeg is recruiting for a Skilled Laboure/Shipper & Receiver local to Bonnyville to join our Fabrication Shop team. This is a temporary full-time position on 5 days on and 2 days off rotation.

 

Bonnyville's Fabrication Shop does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.  For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

 

Previous Shipping & Receiving experience is mandatory, light computer skills would be an asset.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Receive material to packing slips, mark client/grade color coding. Quarantine any damaged material.
  • Check MTR’s to the client specifications. 
  • Ensure material is stored off the ground and protected.
  • Experience in piping material an asset.
  • Daily operation of forklift

 

Requirements:

 

  • Construction Safety Training Systems 2020 Certification 

  • WHMIS 2015

  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
