Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Millwright to join the esteemed team at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta.

CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site, and you’ll enjoy a well-structured 4-days-on and 3-days-off rotation, with 11-hour workdays, complete with three 15-minute breaks (10am/12 noon/3pm - two paid and one unpaid) and 5% RRSP

Only local Millwrights to the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area will be considered

 Position Requirements

• Registered Journeyperson Millwright with 4 Years maintenance experience in SAGD or In-Situ thermal operations
• Construction Safety Training System 2020
• H2S Alive
• Confined Space Entry
• Fall Protection
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
• Meet conditions outlined on Physical Demands Analysis
• Achieve 100% completion of mandatory Quinn and Client Training
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol test

Position Description

• Commissioning, start-up and reliability activities
• Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
• Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.
• Perform predictive and operational procedures.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Inspect, service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and pumps.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Receptive to working with short notice for call outs and overtime as per client request.

Position Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyperson and/or holds a valid recognized credential OR active millwright apprenticeship in good standing.
• H2S Alive
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09
• CSTS 2020
• Certified Confined Space
• Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
• Valid Driver’s Licence
