Jardeg is recruiting a local Labourer to join the team at Bonnyville’s ES&Y Yard located at Bonnyville, AB.

 

For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. Our skilled and exceptionally experienced team ensures that the highest degree of quality, safety and material performance specifications are reliably met and rigorously adhered to in:

 

  • Pipe fabrication, fitting & welding 

  • Module assembly 

  • Prefabricated & painted steel structural erection 

  • Electrical & Instrumentation 

 

Reporting to the Materials Yard Foreman, labourer responsibilities include ensuring the organized flow of equipment and materials, maintaining inventory accuracy and contributing to the upkeep and safety of the yard.

 

Local candidates to the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area only.

 

A Labourer will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

 

  • Maintain the working order of the yard, warehouses and equipment.

  • Receive and monitor equipment and material requisitions.

  • Load and unload equipment and materials for transportation to and from project sites.

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to quality control and company standards.

  • Orient truck drivers to the yard and ensure proper procedures are followed.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in yard or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate equipment (e.g. forklifts or loaders) safely and efficiently (certification is an asset).
  • Knowledge of construction materials and tools is an advantag.
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Consistently demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety and environmental protocols.
