Jardeg Construction is currently recruiting for a Ironworker Lead Hand to join the Integrated Constructors Inc. maintenance team at the Bonnyville Fabrication shop,  AB. This is a temporary full-time position with 5 days on 2 days off rotation with 48 hours a week.

Bonnyville: Fabrication Shop, does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.  

For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

Responsibilities:

• Experienced Ironworker journeyperson with skills and ablility to lead team of journeypersons and apprentices.
• Erect and Install module structures, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
• Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures.
• Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.
• Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials.
