Position: Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson - Bonnyville Fabrication Shop

Schedule: 10 Days On 4 days off 10 hours per day

Jardeg is seeking Instrumentation Journeyperson Technician  to join our team at Bonnyville Fabrication on a 10 on 4 off rotation 10 hours per day.

As a Instrumentation Journeyperson Technician you will:

 

  • Work with a variety of pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
  • Install tubing for instrument air, sample points, and analyzers.
  • Installation of flowmeters, pressure transmitters and gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments.
  • Calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components, and install and maintain instruments on new or existing equipment.
  • Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits and systems.
  • Tubing / calibration experience would be considered an asset

 

Requirements:

 

  • Journeyperson Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020) Certification
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Emergency First Aid
  • H2s Alive
  • AWP
  • Fall protection
  • Driver's License and a clean 3 Year Driver's Abstract
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
