Jardeg Construction is currently seeking Crane Operator to join our Bonnyville Fabrication Shop team. This is a temporary full-time position on 5/2 rotation with 48 hours a week. 

Bonnyville: Fabrication Shop, does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta.  

For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

Responsibilities:

• Operators manipulate a number of pedals and levers to rotate the crane, and raise and lower its boom and one or more load lines.
• May drive the crane to the job site, rig the machine up (pin the boom and pendant cables and pull the hoist cable in preparation for operation) 
• Set up the machine for the lift (i.e., make it level and stable) using blocking and leveling materials. "
