Jardeg has an expression of interest for local Apprentice Pipefitters OR Skilled Labourers who want to become pipefitters for Bonnyville's Fabrication Shop located in Bonnyville, AB. 

The Bonnyville Fabrication Shop does fabrication and installation of process piping, structural steel and skid packages for the oil and gas industry anywhere in Alberta. For over 40 years, the Bonnyville office and team have been providing specialized material requirements and technical services and support for industrial construction and applications. As a longtime part of the Bonnyville and area community, we take pride in supporting and contributing to local organizations that improve and enhance community life.

Steamfitter – pipefitters lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes. Pipefitters also remove and replace worn components, do general maintenance work.

Responsibilities: 

• Fab & Assembly- must be able to read and interpret Acorn & isometric drawing
• Follow written and verbal instructions from foreperson, leadhand or journeyperson.
• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Maintain all tools, work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Certification required.
• Construction Safety Training Systems  2020 Certification required.
• WHMIS 2015
• AWP
• Fall Protection
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
