Jardeg is currently seeking a Forklift/Telehandler Operator for our project at the K+S Bethune Mine on a 4 days on 3 days off rotation. This role will involve a variety of duties centered around materials handling, assisting other operators, and ensuring the efficient operation of storage and inventory activities.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts and telehandlers on-site.
  • Spotting for other operators during critical operations.
  • Assist in rigging and swamping for offloading materials.
  • Unbox and verify deliveries in conjunction with KSPC Material Technicians.
  • Sort and package materials for outbound deliveries.
  • Occasionally travel to Regina for receiving and inventory activities at KSPC's offsite storage facility.
  • Organize and manage materials in storage areas for mid- to long-term storage.
  • Clean up debris from receiving activities and maintain cleanliness in storage areas (laydowns, seacans, cold storage, offsite storage).
  • Conduct spot check cycle counting of inventory on hand.
  • Perform other various laborer activities and duties as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years operating forklifts and telehandlers in an industrial setting.
  • Valid forklift/telehandler certification is required.
  • Above average organizational skills are necessary for this role.
  • GMSA is required.
  • WHMIS
