Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Auto Service Technician Journeyperson to work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Edmonton Shop.

The schedule for this position is 5 days on and 2 days off. 

 

Responsibilities 

Tasks 

  • Test automotive systems and components 

  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems 

  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components 

  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications 

  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs 

  • Perform scheduled maintenance service 

  • Test and adjust units to specifications 

  • Advise on work performed and future repair requirements 

  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed 

  • Provide customer service 

  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required 

  • Diagnose and isolate faults on engines and motors 

  • Must be proficient with computers and able to use programs such as Excel and Word. 

 

Credentials 

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses  

  • Driver's License Class 5 

  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
